9 days, 3 countries, a lot of adventures - bathing in the sea and lake in Italy, climbing glaciers in Austria, sightseeing in Venice, Verona... all this together means and ideal holiday for me!
Here is a little report from our (my boyfriend´s and mine) trip!

We set up on
Tuesday early morning by car, going strait to Austria, threw Salzburg to the Alps, visited the "Eagle´s Nest", place that Hitler got as a birthday present, very high located, with spactacular view. We did also some climbing on the mountain in 2000 meters and when comming back down we even met place with snow! In July! While sweating in 30 degrees!!

The way threw the Alps was really nice - the views were great - waterfalls, peaks, snow, glaciers, green meadows... in the evening in 2333 meters we decided to sleep in wild strait in the park down the Grossglockner (the highest Austrian mountain - 2797 m) ! What an adventure! In night it was freezing cold, at 5 o´clock in the morning we woke up to watch the sunrise and afterwards going back to our tent to catch up on a sleep :)
Wednesda
y was the day, when we were driving by car threw the Tauern park (part of the austrian Alps) with some climbing again, sledging on snow, making snowangels in shorts and snowboalfighting! What a fun in July:)))
Continuing to the aim of the day - Grossglockner - on the strait small path down and then up to the glacier. I gave up on half way, cause of my hurting knee:( But Honza made it :)
That day we were finishing in Italy, got to the seaside resort and when stopped in a camp put on our swimming suits and ran into the sea!!!
Thursday was the relaxing day, laying in the sun on a beach, at the swimmingpool. The sea was a bit muddy though. In the evening we moved on to Eraclea Mare, seaside resort, where we were wild camping again with millions of moskitos around us. In the evening we had real italian ice-cream! Loved it!
Friday we spend on neverending sandy beach laying in the sun, catching some bronze;) the typical summer holiday, but 2 days was enough. In the evening we had the opportunity to try the italian pizza, hmmm:)

On
Saturday started our sightseeing programe:) VENICE!
We managed to go there by a ferry boat with 24 hours ticket, wh

ich that we could travell all over Venice on a water. Te heat was not that cool though! About 40 degrees! So we went to "Doge palace", place on San Marco square, the most famous one. There we spent the time till 2pm and then we just stralled threw narrow streat, over bridges, watching "gondolas", typical boats and finally going threw "Grand canal" threw the whole Venice on a boat there and back.

Tireness forced us comming back by ferry, finding a camp, eat. But then we got a brilliant idea to come back to Venice in the evening! We set up at 10pm with a ferry again, just walking while everything was litten, we even got lost in narrow streats, hehe, but found our way and went "home" again at 0:20am terribly tired!
Sunday comes! Long way on a highway to VERONA, Romeo´s and Julia´s town!

Again some sightseeing - Arena, the 3rd biggest in the world, Julia´s house with tons of turists and walls covered with small papers, messages, hearts, drawings. Our final part was Julia´s tomb. The place had atmosphere! Even though it was a cellar with an empty
sarcophagus. On a whole Verona was appealing to me more then Venice, it seemed elder and with cosy atmosphere.
In the evening we were continuing to Lago di Garda - a big lake with maaany Dutch tu
rists ;)
Monday was again a day of spent on a shore bathing, relaxing, as well as Tuesday. Sleeping wild this time in a vineyard. We built a tent quite next to a vineyard, but we didn´t realized that there was a pipe to splash water on a vine and in the morning we cought an hour shower and the tent was soaking wet while everywhere else was dry:)))
Tuesday evening we set up on our way home going threw the Alps again and Wednesday we stopped at Neuschwanstein, the fairytale castle on German border - nice, but I was expecitng more...
Comming back threw the Czech border was like leaving the world behind and comming to the "old, well known rutine" :)
