Bye bye to Přemek

Our famous lovely experienced AIESEC member Přemek is heading tommorow quite far away - 15.000 km to Costa-Rica! Yesterday many friends came to his bye-bye party to support him (not only with alcohol) in his idea going for the traineeship;)
Even for me it felt great seeing all his=my friends, that I haven´t seen since I went to Uppsala and chat with them!!
Přemku, have a great time there, enjoy every day, every single second, keep us up to date what´s up with you and don´t stay there for good! (even such a cases happened while going with AIESEC abroad - marriages and so on:) )

We all are gonna miss you!!

Need some relax

Well, today it is exactly 23 days I am doing nothing but sitting behind the table and counting maths. But time has come to change this for a while before my "final lap" that is running for my bachelor´s exam!
Tomorrow we set up for a bike trip with my father, mother and my younger brother to Moravia/eastern part of Czech Republic. We are gonna ride a bike, relax, visit different places, enjoy ourselves! Can´t wait to take up some energy and have a rest from everything!

Finding beauty in mathematics

Are you curious, how my studies are carrying on? Today was the day, when I found the beauty in (at least some parts of) mathematics:) Jirko, thanks for explaining me "limity" and simmilar sort of things, eventhought it took about 4 hours of hard work making me it picking up:))) What a feeling afterwards! Hope my enthusiasm will not stop soon:-/...

Hehe, while listening to the dutch "Radio 538", I heard a familiar language (not dutch:)!) - swedish one! First time listening to a swedish song after comming back from Uppsala, and also first dance-pop swedish song that I´ve ever heard, and apparently from foregin radio:)

Sunday trip to a pride of South Bohemia

Having a rest from studying and visiting best friend of mine 70 km away? Both can be possible at once!
On Sunday I went to visit my friend Mája, who is a tourist guide at one of Czech most beautiful castles - Hluboká nad Vltavou! She gave me very pleasant tour threw the castle, we went for a beer, for a nice walk along famous south-bohemian pond, keep gossiping and talking:)) I returned relaxed back to my books:)

PS: The pics are made with my cell-phone after finally instaling the appropriate software into my computer:))

The world is our playground

Well, last days I am thinking how small the world is becoming. If my parents 20 years ago while Czechoslovakia was suffering from comunism read this post, they wouldn´t believe following can be true. Never.
...my brother is comming back tomorrow from England, where also spanish Pablo was for a week and Anet is staying for one year. Duro, the Slovak guy is in Panama, Přemek is looking forward to Costa-Rica for his traineeship! My friend Joost from Holland was visiting Sweden lately, where I spent previous half a year. Kyslík is in Africa/Ghana now. Lucka, my current roommate spent 3 months in China year ago, Jarda suffered in Turkey;) the whole July, while he is soon going to Hong-Kong to study and Kacířek the pink-man;) can´t wait to study in Taiwan in one month! Uppsala EB LC scattered to Norway, Pakistan... Last year about 10 friends of mine visited conference "International Congress" in Agra/India. Sam is back home in Canada, where the dutch Karin is visiting her boyfriend! Last month I spent in Italy, Berlin/Gemany and Austria and my parents are heading off to Croatia for holiday soon...

Could you feel how little the world is becomming?!
I wish I had enough money to visit all my friends :))

AIESEC

For many of my friends could this post seem useless and stupid (známe firmy - Haroška,Skyba a Kacíř se nebudou smát!;) ), but I wanna share also with my non-AIESEC friends a bit about a world-wide organization, to that I devoted a lot of my free time and in which I am now about 3 years a member.

"AIESEC is an international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential" the branding says. Briefly the main idea is to provide traineeships all around the world for students of Economics universities. For me it means basicly opportunity to learn different things, that I couldn´t learn at the university (leading a team, company meetings, organize events...) but also and MAINLY broad my mind and meet people from all over the world either on international conferences or at the Local Comitee Prague. Comming to Prague and joining AIESEC changed my view of "Student´s Prague life" cause I found (now I can say) good friends, who make my life in Prague worth staying here!

And now some pics, that could characterize my "AIESEC life" - full of my (international) friends, new things to learn, drinkiing and partyiing :)

Still enough countries to visit ;)

bla bla bla :)

No news actually... The weather is changable like in April, although it is August and April and Valborg:) is far away. I should be studying maths, but instead of that I am laying in a bed and taking anibiotics, having sore throat - the result from my decision "healthy lifesteyle" jogging in Prague...
What a holiday, man! :)
